Privacy Policy

Who I am

This website is run by Raddy, a web designer and developer based in Worcester, UK. I'm responsible for any personal information collected through this site. If you have a question about this policy or your data, email me at [email protected].

What I collect

  • When you email me - your name, email address and anything you choose to include in your message.
  • When you book a call - the details you enter in the booking form, such as your name, email and a note about your project. Bookings are handled by Cal.com.
  • When you become a client - billing details needed to invoice you and take payment. Payments and the "Manage Account" portal are handled by Stripe, so I never see or store your full card details.
  • When you browse the site - anonymous usage stats, such as which pages are visited, the referring site, and your browser, device type and country. These can't be used to identify you.

Cookies and analytics

This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. I use a privacy-friendly, self-hosted analytics tool that doesn't set cookies or collect personal information, which is why you won't see a cookie banner here. Third-party services like Cal.com and Stripe may set their own cookies when you use them, under their own privacy policies.

How I use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry and talk about your project.
  • To deliver the work we've agreed, and to invoice and take payment for it.
  • To meet legal and accounting requirements, such as keeping financial records.
  • To understand how the site is used so I can improve it.

Legal basis

Under UK GDPR, I rely on contract when your information is needed to provide a service you've asked for, legal obligation for things like tax records, and legitimate interests for replying to enquiries and running the site.

Who I share it with

I don't sell your information or share it for marketing. It's only shared with the services I use to run my business, such as my email provider, Cal.com for bookings, Stripe for payments, my hosting provider and my accountant. Some of these may process data outside the UK, in which case they use approved safeguards to protect it.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that don't turn into a project are deleted within 12 months. Client and financial records are kept for as long as the law requires, which is usually six years after the end of the tax year they relate to.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, and ask me to correct it, delete it, restrict how I use it, or send you a copy. You can also object to me using it. Just email [email protected] and I'll reply within a month.

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to the data protection authority where you live.

Changes to this policy

If anything changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
